Michelle won!!!

OK so if you read my last post you know what I mean. Not only did she win a prize she also won the grand prize!! How awesome is that!! She so deserves it she was working so hard to get everything done so I am super excited for her!

I can't believe we all won something and I can't wait to scrap the pics of all our goodies!! This really was the best NSBD ever!!

Happy National Scrapbook day!!! NSBD 2009!!

OK so naturally I was excited for today's events, I could hardly sleep last night! So I got up early and signed in to Sb.com... made the boys breakfast. Then DH took me to a LSS and Michael's two towns over!! I get a few things but not as much as I hoped *lol*. We make it back in time for the first 8am PST challenge. (which is 11am here) It was so exciting and fun and I even won a challenge!! I am super excited and can't wait to see what I get the teaser looks awesome and it's 30 bucks worth of Sb supplies! what's not to love? My friend Jenny also won on a prize on a different site!!So we are hoping my friend Michelle wins because the three of us that did it together would have all won! That would be so cool! Anyways here are a few of the pages I got done, just for me not for any challenges. TFL!!

Elijah's first juice box it was a proud moment for him!! I cut the "y" "m" "y" with my Cricut.

Aaron's one year old picture. I ordered this just so I could scrap it!! I used screw brads in the license plate and curved the felt trucks. I distressed the edges but used faded jeans (blue ink) instead of a black.

I used my Cricut to cut the title and distressed the edges with walnut stain.

Oh my sweet child chasing the poor ducks! no matter how sweet they are "BOYS WILL BE BOYS!"

More of the friendly forest line I love this collection!!

Also distressed the edges but with firebrick red. Gotta love Tim Holtz!!

Christmas past and a Flashback!!

Christmas 2004

The first family pic.. too bad dh and I didn't take pics when it was just the two of us. that would have been cool to see.. well at least IMO. I do have pics of our first christmas so I will scrap those later.

Christmas 2007
I distressed and inked the edges and used black lace from an old top for the corner.

Our Family Christmas picture from 2005! I am going to scrap all the years. I will load another pic later since I lost the gem from the top center flower.

I used stickles for the 2005 and sugar coating for the cherish.

My dh in first grade. This picture was taken at school.. He was asked to bring something that made him happy and this was it!! I painted the title with shimmer paint and denim reinker. tfl!

Christmas In April!

Since I had so many pics from last christmas I decided to make a mini-book of the event. Here is the cover and some of the pages, I am going to finish a few more tonight and then I will be done.

I covered the album with pp and then added ribbon and embellies, I added stickles to most of the flowers and santa. I inked the edges of all the pp and titles.

Some Pages and a Vent!!

OK so as you all may know I have been working hard to finish the boys baby books. Well I finished Elijah's and the stupid album broke! Apparently I had way too many pages for the stupid post bound album! Anyways it's almost impossible to find a 8.5 x 11 baby book that isn't post bound! I have had the help of one nice SB.com member who also sells CM products, but the only thing is I wanted to use my pp and wanted a light blue album.. I am not sure if I will buy it or not since it's strap hinge but it may be the best option.

I did find a wonderful AC album that is D-ring and blue, however it is a 12x12! At $7.50 I bought it anyways, figuring I would use it for Aaron since his baby book was just getting started.. so I get home and of course Aaron's baby book is a lot further along than I thought! so now I am redoing Aaron's since it is easier than dealing with trying to finish 8.5 x 11. But I am pissed!

Cali Love!

Elijah's first trip! For these pages I wanted to show Cali the way I feel it. I used BasicGrey's Ambrosia collection. To me it has the bold and warm feel of Cali. I also distressed the edges, because Cali can be a little "rough" I used these letters, because they just scream Cali!! I added some stitching because Cali is edgy and creative. I used BasicGrey's Granola collection for all of the Tx pages.

I inked the TX with distress ink and frayed the edges.

All embellies are from the collection as well!

I had a few pics of ds and Fil that I wanted to use,so I decided to break the trip into four pages here are the first two, all about ds and his "papa"

I used Granola by BasicGrey, I distressed and tore the edges of all the pp.

For the title I used BG bon bon "G" and Tim holtz grunge board letters.

I left them naked for a better blend. I also use a grunge board heart and wings. I used crackle paint on the wings and then went back in with two distress inks to add shading.
The embellishments are also from the Granola line I just altered the border into five different vines, and added a "flower" to one. Tfl!

I used the mess to mimic the Mesh on the play pen.

This is using BG Marrakech line.

I also used a bunch of random letters for fun!

I wanted to make a page connecting Dh and FIL service time.
